According to the news agency, a company called Light Air from the Netherlands is very soon to introduce a solar electric car that runs on sunlight, for which the supply chain to consumers is also likely to start soon.
The company has manufactured 949 vehicles with 60 kW electric motors that will have solar panels installed on the roof and doors.
In this sense, the company says that electric vehicles are a step in the right direction, but they are charged with electricity and the electricity is produced from crude oil.
But you can charge this solar electric car through the sun at any time of the day while the company claims that this car can travel more than 700 kilometers on a single charge thanks to solar and electric batteries.
The car is priced at 2.5 million euros, which is more than 53.5 million Pakistani rupees, and will be available to consumers in Europe in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, the company also plans to develop a low-cost model, the production of which is likely to start at the end of 2024 or 2025.
According to reports, the price of a low-cost car will start from 30,000 euros, that is, more than 6.4 million Pakistanis.
